Skyfall Poster Analysis.

The Image shows the main subject of james bond in the setting of london.
this suggests that the movieis based around london and based around the british franchise of james bond. the image also shows the name of the film, this being Skyfall.
The shot typeused is a long shot, this is shown through being able to see the whole of james bond, we get to see his entire posture and his body language, we also see part of the Aston Martain car which is also a british made car that have been apart of the james bond films throughout the years.
The colours that are involved are of a monochrome style, this suggests that the poster is being made to look old because the franchise is old withinin itself. The Silver tone also conflicts with the idea that james bond is expensive and maybe even 'made from steel' because it seems he is always alive, in conclusion the poster is in black and white with the exception of the james bond logo '007' which is in a gold colour, this suggests that James Bond is very Important and he is literally 'Gold' and has been a golden franchise throughout the years.
The Font for this poster is mainly the title of 'Skyfall' near the bottom, the font is white, big and spaced out, this means that it is the first thing you notice when scanning over the poster. they way that the 'skyfall' font also has a smokey effect in the background suggests that the title is a mystery, leaving the viewer/audience questioning if 'skyfall' is a main part of the film.
The Unique selling points for this film is the main character of james bond who is played by Daniel Craig who has also been in two other james bond films; Casino Royale and Quantum of Solice.
The font for the Institutional Information is black and small, this being because not many people are really bothered about reading that specific information. The
how is genre conveyed?
