Skyfall Poster Analysis.

The Image shows the main subject of james bond in the setting of london.
this suggests that the movieis based around london and based around the british franchise of james bond. the image also shows the name of the film, this being Skyfall.
The shot typeused is a long shot, this is shown through being able to see the whole of james bond, we get to see his entire posture and his body language, we also see part of the Aston Martain car which is also a british made car that have been apart of the james bond films throughout the years.
The colours that are involved are of a monochrome style, this suggests that the poster is being made to look old because the franchise is old withinin itself. The Silver tone also conflicts with the idea that james bond is expensive and maybe even 'made from steel' because it seems he is always alive, in conclusion the poster is in black and white with the exception of the james bond logo '007' which is in a gold colour, this suggests that James Bond is very Important and he is literally 'Gold' and has been a golden franchise throughout the years.
The Font for this poster is mainly the title of 'Skyfall' near the bottom, the font is white, big and spaced out, this means that it is the first thing you notice when scanning over the poster. they way that the 'skyfall' font also has a smokey effect in the background suggests that the title is a mystery, leaving the viewer/audience questioning if 'skyfall' is a main part of the film.
The Unique selling points for this film is the main character of james bond who is played by Daniel Craig who has also been in two other james bond films; Casino Royale and Quantum of Solice.
The font for the Institutional Information is black and small, this being because not many people are really bothered about reading that specific information. The
how is genre conveyed?

Fighting superior technology, Man's best weapon is the will to survive.) starring Will Smith, The Day After Tomorrow (Jack Hall, paleoclimatologist for NORAD, must make a daring trek across America to reach his son, trapped in the cross-hairs of a sudden international storm which plunges the planet into a new Ice Age) Starring Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal

Safe Haven Trailer Analysis.

"A young woman with a mysterious past lands in Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her"

A unique selling point at the beginning of the trailer is that the Director, Lasse Hallström, also directed Chocolat, a 2000 romance film starring Johnny Depp, And Dear john, another romance film made in 2010, starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried.
The Writer of the book of this film adaptation is Nicholas Sparks, who also wrote books such as The Notebook, Dear john, The Last Song and A Walk To Remember, this suggests that if the audience of those films enjoyed watching these, they are most likely to enjoy and watch this film, this being because most of these films are of a romantic genre and hit home.

The genre for this Trailer/Film is a Romantic Thriller, Romantic because the main two protagonists involved do become romantically involved with eachother, after both of their tragic past lifes they get together, fitting a cliche of a romantic film. The Thriller side is shown by using scenes of a dramatic nature, for example; A fire spreading and a person going after another person in a villionus/ mean way.

The Vow Trailer Analysis

"A car accident puts Paige in a coma, and when she wakes up with severe memory loss, her husband Leo works to win her heart again"

The Narrative for this trailer involves Todorov's theory about the different stages. The first stage is the Equilibrium, where Rachael McAdam's character Paige and Channing Tatum's character Leo are happily together getting married, the colours seem to be light around them and high-key sending out the message that the scenes are pure and happy, A scene representing this is when Leo asks Paige to move in with him by spelling it out in blueberries, the stage that comes next is the disruption in the happiness, This is shown in the part when both Paige and Leo are in their car kissing when suddenly a truck strikes the back of their car, which then causes Paige to lose her memory and forget Leo, hich is a main part of disrupting the peace of their bliss.
The repair is the final stage of the theory where Leo tries to win Paige back when she has no clue who he is by trying to re-create things that they have done together to try and restore their lives.

The Genre for this film is conveyed through this film poster is that it is a horror, the sub headings of 'There is Evil on the other side' indicates that the film has some sort of evil lurking around in the movie. The genre is could also be conveyed as a Mystery Thriller, this being referred to the people who look distraught and in trouble could relate to the factor of being a thriller, The mystery side of this movie that is portrayed upon the poster is that the characters are reflected in the water, and not being able to see their faces, this could also mean that water plays a big part in the movie seeing as the water takes up half of the poster.
The unique selling points for this poster involve the title of 'Mirrors' which reflects the idea of the film being revolved around mirrors and their horrors. The Main character Ben Carson who is an ex-cop who is the catalyst of the whole movie who is played by Kiefer Sutherland, who has been in such things as The lost boys, Monsters vs Aliens and Phone booth, which are some top-selling films. The colours involed in this poster are a variation, the colour of the main title of 'Mirrors' (where one of the R's is reflected relating to the theme of mirrors)
The colours around the edge of the poster are dark and dull looking very low-key, in contrast with the light which is high-key around the family, meaning that family is the lightness in the darkness, making it seem that family is hope.

Mirrors Trailer Analysis

"An ex-cop and his family are the target of an evil force that is using mirrors as a gateway into their home."

The target audience for this film would most likely be 18 and over, this is because the obvious genre for this trailer is horror, and most horrors are for adults, this is because it could involve gore, murder and general scary stuff.
The audience is introduced to the family together in the 'equilibrium' making everything seem so perfect and making a happy family, which contradicts itself seeing as throughout the trailer we see things get progressively worse, being disrupted, and towards the end it shows that   The main thing that links the trailer together is the 20th Century Fox distribution logo and Regency ditribution logo are reflected to seem like a mirror making the themes of mirrors run its course throughout.
The Director Alexandre Aja who is the director of The Hills Have Eyes and Piranah 3D is a unique selling point. this being because this could be influencing people who have seen his other films and have enjoyed them may enjoy this film.
The Actors involved in this film are; Kiefer Sutherland; (whos been in The lost boys, Monsters vs Aliens and Phone booth.) who plays the main character of the ex-cop whois targeted by the mirrors.
